85 of 365 Diva and Geek Boy's Great Adventure Part 2

Last week Geek Boy and I visited Ft. Jackson in South Carolina. Many years ago when Diva wasn't known as Diva, she lived in South Carolina and her dad was stationed at Ft. Jackson.

We traveled all over the country while my dad was in the Army. I don't ever really recall ever living on the military base except when we lived in Puerto Rico. I do remember that the military housing looked something like this...

But driving through Ft. Jackson, Diva and Geek Boy soon discovered where our tax dollars are being spent. This is not the government housing I grew up in...

Perhaps one day my brother and sister in law will live in one of these nice houses and Diva and Geek Boy can go visit them.
